Melodi and Abigail Johnson Parker Memorial Fund

On March 6, 2021, my dear sister Melodi Linnette Johnson and her daughter Abigail Rain were tragically killed in a head-on car collision while driving home from a birthday party. Another driver swerved into their oncoming lane. Abi’s twin Shiloh was the only survivor of the crash with a broken arm/wrist that needed surgery, a concussion, and broken toes. Melodi is survived by her husband Jeremy and three daughters Shiloh – 14, Luna - 8, and Brisa – 6.

My name is Barrett Johnson, and I’m starting this fund as a way to turn our devastation and pain into something productive for the wellbeing of my nieces and Jeremy.

Jeremy, Melodi, and the girls have a family of friends all over the world. They have a gift of bringing people together. None of us will forget the time we’ve spent in their house filled with laughter, music, and dancing (If you know Mel, then you know). Melodi and Abigail believed in a God of love and that this life is not the end. In Melodi’s words, “We will rest and rejoice together.”

Until then, let’s pool our resources so we can help Jeremy, Shiloh, Luna, and Brisa heal without worrying about how to cover the extra support they need in the upcoming year. Home and childcare, grief counseling, medical bills, memorial services, and airfare are just a few of the expenses that are coming up.  

The love of family and friends will help them overcome this tragedy. We greatly appreciate your contributions. All funds raised go directly to Jeremy and the girls.
