Chefs Alex Figura and Spencer White have big plans to create spaghetti monsters in Denver’s RiNO neighborhood with Dio Mio a pasta-focused restaurant that is set to open in the Fall of 2016, at 3264 Larimer Street. The 1500 square foot restaurant will feature counter-service and seating for 40 people. The focal point of the space is a pasta production area where patrons can watch their handmade pasta from start to finish!
We are reaching out to our friends/family/community to ask for assistance to not only fulfill our goals in making Dio Mio a success, but more importantly allowing us as a brand to make an impact with in the local arts + entertainment community that is so present within in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver.
Our goal for this fundraising is to raise money to do the following.
-Mural. We would like to get a new mural painted on the side of the restaurant to show support to local artists and maintain the flourishing art scene along Larimer Street.
- Featured Artists – We’d like to have the proper lighting and hardware to host rotating artwork, visible within the restaurant, to create more exposure for local artists.
-Sound system. We would like to have a small PA system capable of have live music in the space, this would be used for every event that Dio Mio hosts.
-Pasta extruder. This will help us create the best possible dried pastas, as well as keep our prices affordable. Dried pasta will make retail component thrive, and help us spread handmade pasta to the people. Dried pasta could also shipped to our friends and family all over the country!
