In the heart of the crisis tearing through our land, where war etches its broad lines across the map of our lives, my family stands as a witness to the merciless destruction. I was once a guide to the language that unites us and a teacher of the science that builds generations, but in a moment, everything was snatched from us. Our home, our sanctuary, turned into a memory amid the ruins of war on its first day. And my school, a source of pride and livelihood, became desolation inhabited only by the echoes of students' voices buried under the shelling.

Now, in the south of the sector, we live our days in a tent that neither shields us from the summer heat nor the winter cold. My children, who once knew smiles, now fear the shadows of the night and dread the sound of the wind, fearing it heralds a new explosion. Hunger grips us, and the simplest of our rights to life - safety, food, and medicine - have become distant dreams.

After eighteen years of building and hoping, the war has left our hearts and lives in ruins. My husband and children, who dreamt of a future worthy of our sacrifices, now face life without shelter or hope in their homeland. Escaping this painful reality requires us to gather an amount that now seems impossible; $40,000 to start a new life away from this destruction.

الآن، نحن في جنوب القطاع نعيش أيامنا في خيمة لا تقينا حر الصيف ولا برد الشتاء. أطفالي، الذين كانوا يعرفون الابتسامة، أصبحوا يخشون ظلال الليل ويهابون صوت الريح خوفاً من أن يكون مقدمة لانفجار جديد. الجوع يعتصرنا، وأبسط حقوقنا في الحياة - الأمان والغذاء والدواء - أصبحت أحلاماً بعيدة المنال.

بعد ثمانية عشر عاماً من البناء والأمل، تركت الحرب قلوبنا وحياتنا خراباً. زوجي وأطفالي، الذين كانوا يحلمون بمستقبل يليق بتضحياتنا، الآن يواجهون الحياة بدون مأوى أو أمل في وطنهم. الخروج من هذا الواقع الأليم يتطلب منا جمع مبلغ يبدو الآن كأنه من المستحيلات؛ ٤٠٠٠٠ دولار لنبدأ حياة جديدة بعيداً عن هذا الدمار.
