Hello!
This page was created because recently our Diamond cargo trailer with all of our beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, boogie boards, pricing signs, canopy tents and paddle boards were stolen right from our place of operation. $20,000 worth of equipment was stolen and it has taken away 90% of our potential to make a living. This has been devestating to us on top of the 50% loss of revenue from this previous year due to to the Pandemic.
We operate in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and it is our passion to serve the public through the beach service. In 10 years of operation we have never experienced any grand theft against our business. At 7pm on March 11th, 2021 a black or blue Chevrolet truck pulled Into the Four Points by Sheraton hotel parking lot. They moved signs, bricks, cones and took a lock off to steal our trailer with our belongings.
I understand these people who stole the trailer were desperate, but they do not know how it is affecting the public and our customers even more. People visiting Jacksonville Beach often time are unable physically to carry equipment and even put up a umbrella in the sand (what we specialize in doing). We not only set everything up for our customers, we teach them the dangers of winds, tides and provide value through teaching them essential tips and tricks to have the best experience possible here in Jacksonville Beach and any beach they go to in life.
We are asking for your help, whether it it is sharing this page or donating to our gofundme. Any donations received will go to new equipment so we can operate our beach serivce to its once thriving capacity. We have filed a police report and they and other local community members are working diligently to help find our trailer and equipment.
Our love for this community and Rent Beach Stuff will always overcome any obstacle presented to our beach service. Our mission is to make sure each customer leaves the beach happier than they came.
Thank you so much for your time, we greatly appreciate your continued love and support.
Sincerely,
Allen Soto, Sefton Tranter and Jason Caffey
