Quinn Moffett’s Memorial Bench

Our sweet Quinn Moffett passed away on January 6, 2021. Quinn was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Anyone who had the opportunity to know Quinn was able to see her bright smile, warm heart, and love for adventure. Quinn loved spending her summers at Bandemer Park with her friends, whether she was relaxing while laying out on the docks or laughing while floating down the river. Bandemer Park brought Quinn and the people she loved together and serves as a place of peace for those who miss her today. We would like to donate a memorial park bench and plaque in honor of Quinn to one of her favorite places, as well as a place that so many who loved Quinn got to make memories with her. We hope this bench can serve as a comfort and reminder of her and the impact her light had on so many. 

We have created this GoFundMe in hopes that we will be able to raise $6,200 to donate to Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation to create a memorial bench in Quinn’s name at her favorite place. This bench will be commemorated in her honor and create a place where family, friends, and loved ones can remember her beautiful bright spirit. The bench itself costs $5,000 to be installed with a concrete slab, and the plaque will cost an additional $200. We are also hoping to plant flowers around the bench which will cost between $50-200. The overall expenses of the bench will be $5,350 but because GoFundMe takes 5% of every donation, we are listing our goal at $6,200. All proceeds will go towards this memorial bench, and any excess will be donated to a charity chosen by Quinn’s loved ones.
