Mom’s House Fire Recovery
Donation protected
Yesterday, January 5th, 2023, what is believed a gas-leak-led-explosion in the neighbor’s unit caused the 4-unit building my family was living in to be set ablaze.
At the time of the fire, 2 of our small dogs were trapped inside the home. Firefighters were unable to retrieve them until the unit was safe to enter. Fortunately, the dogs were brought out alive and rushed to the emergency animal hospital. Although our main priority was to see them alive, their medical bill is just one of the many financial hits endured.
Everything was lost in the home along with the home itself. Valuables, sentimental items, their comfort, their safety - gone. My mother, along with my uncle and brother have been displaced from their home permanently. They are the hardest working people I know and it saddens me to see them experience this loss. My mother has always protected us and made sure we had a roof over our heads. Now we want to make sure she finds a roof over hers and help her rebuild their life after this incident.
Our heart is with them. Our prayers are for them.
Any support and aid in helping them move forward is greatly, greatly appreciated.
