Marina's Medical Expenses

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I hope you're doing well and staying healthy. I am writing to you with a heartfelt plea for help on behalf of my beloved grandmother Marina Santoyo. She is currently facing a significant health challenge, and we are rallying together as a family to ensure she receives the care she needs as well as to help out with her medical expenses.

On December 20th, Marina was admitted to Carle Foundation Hospital for a Brain Aneurysm ( a weak blood artery that ballooned and filled with blood). After a risky surgery, on December 21st, with a positive outcome, she will be recovering in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the next two weeks, to prevent other Brain Aneurysms and seizures from developing. Following the two weeks (16 Days), there is a strong possibility of her having to spend one or more weeks in the hospital, to prevent future episodes.

During this time a skilled team of ICU staff and neurologists will be providing care for her and an immediate family members will also be present to translate for Marina. During this time one family member will be there in the day followed by one staying overnight with her. Daily CT and ultrasounds are being performed to ensure healing. If a new brain aneurysm does develop, we have been notified by medical staff that invasive and risky surgery would be required once again.

Despite the emotional strength and resilience that Araceli Espinoza & Ilda Ontiveros have shown throughout this journey, the financial burden associated with medical treatments, medications, and other related expenses has become overwhelming. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support them, but we recognize that we cannot do it alone.

We are reaching out to you, our extended family, friends, and the community, with a humble request for financial assistance. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Marina's journey toward's recovery. If you are unable to contribute financially, your thoughts, prayers, and shares of this campaign are equally appreciated.

Espero que se encuentren bien de salud. Escribo esto para pedirles de su alluda en nombre de mi querida abuela Marina Santoyo.

Actualmente enfrenta un importante desafío de salud y nos estamos uniendo como familia. Para asegurarnos de que reciba la atención que necesita y para ayudarla con sus gastos médicos.

El 20 de diciembre, Mariana ingresó en el hospital dela fundación Carle por un derrame cerebral causada por una embolia. Luego de una arriesgada cirugía el día 21 de diciembre, ella estará en la unidad de cuidados intensivos ( ICU ), durante las próximas dos semanas. Para evitar que tenga otro derrame cerebral o convulsiones. Después delas dos semanas. Hay gran posibilidad de que tenga que pasar una o más semanas en el hospital para evitar complicaciones.

A pesar dela fortaleza emocional y resistencia que Araceli Espinoza y Ilda Ontiveros han demostrado, a lo largo de este viaje la carga financiera asociada con los gastos médicos y medicamentos y otros gastos relacionados se ha vuelto abrumadora. Y estamos haciendo todo lo posible con la familia para apoyarnos , pero reconocemos que no lo podemos hacerlo solos. Nos acercamos a ustedes, a nuestra gran familia amigos a nuestra comunidad, les pedimos humildemente de su ayuda con su contribución con lo que gusten apoyarnos. Cualquier ayuda ase una gran diferencia significativa en el camino de Marina. Hacia su recuperación gracias por sus llamadas, textos, y sus oraciones Asia ella.
