For the Love of Lodi
Donation protected
Hi everyone. I have created this Fundraiser on behalf of Lodi, with her consent and all funds will be deposited into Lodi’s account.
As her friends and family know, Lodi is a loving, beautiful soul. She is that friend that would do anything to help anyone in need, if she knew you or not. She is known and loved by many as she resides and works in Carleton Place as a Hair Stylist.
She volunteers her time and energy to local fundraisers and is an avid animal lover.
She turned 50 last week and instead of celebrating her 50th birthday, she is lying in a hospital bed hoping to be able to walk again someday. She would like to thank the Paramedic that she said saved her life.
Lodi's life changed in the blink of an eye on February 22, 2021
She was walking her dog on the Pedestrian pathway in Carleton Place on the Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail. When all of a sudden she and her dog were struck from behind by an out of control snowmobile that had crossed over to the pedestrian side. It ran them down before hitting a pole that finally stopped it.
She was rushed to Ottawa hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery.
Today, she is lying in bed in a neckbrace, with no ability to move or eat on her own.
Her recovery is unknown at this time.
We are asking for help to support Lodi by raising funds for her current and future expenses.
