The Stand newspaper was established for students, by students in 2011. Since then, it has remained committed to delivering news, insights and advice directly to the St Andrews community. Our six sections – News, Fashion, Events, Opinion, Sport, and Features – showcase work from generations of diligent contributors.

Unfortunately, in recent years, our WordPress site has been struggling to keep up with us. As of last week, it has now almost completely given up the ghost. The only way forward is designing a new website to exhibit past and future articles. The expected total cost is £16 per month. We would hugely appreciate contributions of any size towards this target.
