Hello everyone, my name is Loghan Figgins and I am 22 years old. Recently within the last month I have been deemed legally blind my by eye care professionals. On January 5th, 2017 I was diagnosed with a cornea disease called kerataconus, a progressive cornea disease that has no cure. I have lost the ability to enjoy many things I took for granted while I was younger, such as: being able to recognize my friends from across the room, not having to hold my phone up right up to my face, being able to see myself clearly in a mirror, or even seeing the board within classrooms. The proceeds of this fundraiser would go to the fitting and creating of scleral lenses which would slow down the progression of the disease. This would grant me the ability to move normally around this world and give me viable vision. I have explored all other options and this is my last resort.
