Cornel Jones Medical Expenses

Hello everyone, my name is Cornel Jones and I am a student attending the University of West Florida. I am in my senior year majoring in Political Science,  I am an A-B student and will be the first in my family to graduate with a bachelors degree. 

 

On the evening of Thursday, March 26th, I was driving home and was involved in a major car accident. This incident was investigated and it was determined I’m not at fault. Unfortunately, my car hydroplaned and hit a tree causing multiple injuries: two broken hands, broken wrist, four fractured fingers, fractured all five toes on the right foot, broken leg, loss two front teeth, sliced tongue, fractured shin and ribs & blood clots in the lungs.  

 

Thankfully through the grace of God I am still here living and breathing today. 

 

I am a son of seven siblings and my family will struggle hard trying to pay for my road to recovery.  My school insurance won’t cover anything unrelated to football.  

 

The funds I am requesting will be used towards hospital bills, fees, follow-up surgeries and treatment plans.
