Joe Performs at Edinburgh Fringe!

Hi! My name is Joe. Ever since I was two I have loved opera. Music has been a huge part of my life and shaped how I grew up, and who I am. You might imagine, for awhile, I wasn't too popular with my classmates who found me totally weird. That was until I was accepted into the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and realized there were other kids like me. 

I  just found out I was one of 25 students invited by my amazing mentor and teacher Stephanie Vlahos to perform "Carmen High", a modern twist on Bizet's classic, at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe festival in August, 2016. The funds I collect will go towards the flight and lodging for our two-week run in Scotland. 

I believe this will be an invaluable opportunity to grow as a peformer and to mature as a person, not to mention having a great time with some of the people I most respect and love. I will be deeply grateful to anyone who donates--any amount will play a huge part in creating a lifelong impact for me and my artistic career.
