Hiromi and Chris Maupin

Chris and Hiromi met each other in Japan in 2006 and married in 2010.  They moved to SLC in 2012 when Chris accepted a new job opportunity.  They welcomed the births of their twin sons, Haruto & Kenji later that year.  

Sadly, at the age of just 38, Hiromi was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer in the spring of 2015.  She is fighting a courageous battle against an incredibly difficult disease, determined to spend as much quality time as possible with her husband and twin sons. Recently, the doctors have told the family that Hiromi may only have "...several weeks to three months..." remaining to live.

This GoFundMe page is meant to help the family with the expenses of bringing Hiromi's family from Japan to the US to be at her side and for medical expenses.
