Help New Parents After Severe Motor Accident

Hey everyone,

My name is Xrisa-Eleni, I have created this gofundme for my best friend Brydget and her fiance Jeff. On March, 27, 2021, the couple were enjoying their first date night out since the birth of their son when their lives were changed forever. They were riding their motorcycle on their way home when a taxi turned left in front of them at an intersection and caused a head on collision. Jeff went through the windshield of the taxi and Brydget was thrown through the taxi's roof sign and 20ft in the air and onto the pavement. Brydget is a Registered Manual Osteopath and just graduated the Registered Massage Therapy program at TriOS College. Brydget was on maternity leave caring for their son, which she now has very limited ability to do. Jeff was a Fanshawe College student completing a Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Digital Marketing. It is unclear what abilities they will have once recovered and the impact that this will have both short-term and long-term in their chosen careers.

Both Jeff and Brydget are unable to care for themselves and their three month old son is being taken care of by Jeff’s mother until circumstances improve.

These are some of the most loving and wonderful people I've ever known. The officers and medics on the scene remarked about how when they arrived to each of them, they were only concerned with the wellbeing of one another, they just needed to know the other was okay. In the hospital were, they were able to stay in the same room and asked to have their beds put together to be closer together- the doctors said it was the first time they had ever seen patients do this. With the severity of the collision and their injuries, the doctors said it is a miracle that they survived. Their financial situation and future has been impacted drastically and I would like to ask for your support in helping this amazing couple and new parents in their long road to recovery.
