Dear Friends,

I am a progressive activist and a delegate to the DNC!  Any donation to help get me to Philadelphia  is much appreciated, $10, $15, $25 or more.  

As a progressive grassroots activist I have organized on many issues including single payer healthcare, ending homelessness, opposing the TPP, opposing Fracking and other activities that promote global warming, campaign finance reform and promoting peace while opposing endless wars and conflicts and promoting the humane treatment of animals.

I am a DNC member-elect and a PLEO delegate for Bernie Sanders to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.  I work with homeless and low income communities through a non-profit as well as run an organization to bring a political voice for the humane treatment of animals. 

The party does not supply elected delegates with any related expenses--despite the immense importance of their role and the upcoming election to defeat Trump.

The convention runs July 25th-28th, with arrival required on July 24th. Costs include: airfare, travel within the city, lodging, food, convention fees, and events at the convention itself. To put the cost in perspective, lodging is projected to be $300/night, for 5 nights. To reach the goal of attending the convention, I should realistically raise about $4,000. 

One of the best ways to ensure the party moves forward is to encourage progressives to be part of the Democratic Party process! Please consider helping a passionate progressive make a difference at the Convention.
