Helping Individual Ukrainians

Donation protected
As the world watches the tragedy in Ukraine unfold, we want to help in a way that we know will make a difference. To that end, we have committed to helping a few Ukrainian families along their path to re-establishing their lives in a safe place. This can include getting them out of Ukraine, transportation, immigration consultation support, finding accommodations, work, and schools, once they are able to do so.

Halyna is on the ground in Peremyshl Poland (the border town where a large proportion of Ukrainians are crossing over) helping families from the train station with a variety of needs. This can be as simple as getting people transportation to their destination, finding medical assistance or finding a temporary place to stay. As part of our work we have rented an apartment in this town to support some of these families until they can find long-term accommodations.

Thank you to all who have generously contributed!!

Second Stage : SHORTAGE OF EQUIPMENT.   There are therapists continuing to work in the rehab centers and hospitals and they are short on equipment that helps the injured become more independent.   These are therapist's that Natalie (Talya) knows personally and we are committed to getting the equipment to these therapists and supporting their ongoing work.

As mothers and healthcare professionals, we care deeply about their health and safety. We know there are large organizations helping but these are families and therapists that we know, that we will support and that we can assure the donations go directly to them.

As we figure out the best formula to help, we will offer this support to other family and friends we know, or who are referred to us. We know this personal connection provides comfort to these families and to the fathers remaining in Ukraine who do not need the added burden of worrying about their families while fighting for their country.

Your support is incredible and will make a difference one individual at a time!!!
