Bryan McAvoy's Funeral Fund
Donation protected
This week, my grandmother tragically lost another one of her sons, my uncle Bryan. My uncle has been self-employed for the last few years, working in Philadelphia as a carpenter on odd jobs here and there. Since he was self-employed, he, unfortunately, did not have health insurance and so my elderly grandmother is having to take on the cost of his burial and funeral. No one should have to bury any, let alone two, of their children. As you can imagine, she is absolutely heartbroken and this expense is just adding to the burden for her.
My uncle also leaves behind a 19-year-old son, Robert, who he was so incredibly proud of. Robert just graduated from high school two weeks ago and is really struggling with this loss. His whole world has been turned upside during what should be one of the most exciting times in his life.
Any amount you could donate would be much appreciated. Any funds that are leftover after the funeral is paid for will go in to a college fund for his son, my little cousin, Robert. Thank you!
