It is with deep sadness that we mourn the untimely loss of Aaron Jonas Cruz; a son, brother, grandson, uncle, and nephew. Aaron is survived by his mother and father, Sandra and Carlos Cruz and his brothers Kevin and Travis Cruz.
The family has gone through an unimaginable experience and this GoFundMe seeks to ease the financial burden for them with regard to funeral and burial expenses.
Aaron was 34 years old, a skilled hockey player, proud UTSA alumnus, and the first in the family among the cousins to earn his Bachelor's degree. As the eldest brother and oldest cousin, he was admired by his younger family and pushed them to do their absolute best.
The Cruz family is so grateful for any gift provided in honor of their son. They are in pain and the hope is that this gift can lighten their burden so they can grieve in peace.
