Dear friends and family,
We are raising money during these uncertain times and months to come for
the Hillock family. Brendan was involved in a life-altering motorcycle accident
on May 29th,2024 that could have claimed his life. As tragic as this is “We are
grateful”. An irresponsible driver failed to yield to the right of way for Brendan
traveling home from work. Pulling out in front of him and causing him to
collide into the vehicle at 40 mph leaving him with severe injuries. He has had
2 immediate surgeries needed just to be able to walk again eventually and an
unknown amount for the future. His road to recovery undoubtedly has
changed both his and his family’s lives forever.
Brendan is a proud family man to his wife Michelle & 4 amazing children.
Throughout the years he has played an important role in the Sarasota County
Recovery Pod & Suncoast Community giving back what was so freely given to
him. His recovery has inspired so many on this journey. Even with everything
happening he still manages to smile through the hardest of days.
He will be admitted into impatient rehab after all this, learning how to walk
and relearning everyday functions again. Money collected will help go towards
medical bills, physical therapy, emotional support and everyday housing
essentials. Let’s help alleviate some of the stress on this family after this
horrific event. Anything is greatly appreciated.
