Davell Gardner Jr Foundation aka (fatman)

My name is Davell Gardner Sr and I am the father of Davell Gardner Jr. who died on July 12, 2020 due to gun violence, he was only a year old. My son death hit the news and became nationwide. I am starting this fundraiser in honor of my son Davell Gardner Jr., to spread  awareness and also to help other families who are experiencing what I am going through.  The foundation will be named Davell Gardner Jr.  and this will benefit all children, teens, and parents that will have a safe space to have family fun, recreation, education and family trips.  I also would like a prayer station and have a study group/support group.  The funds will be used for getting a building and setting up rooms with office supplies,  computers, printer/fax, phones,education materials, art supplies,  and recreational area where kids can feel safe.  There is so much that I want to do for the community and the support from the community can  help me get started. The killings continue within the five borough of New York City and it is heart breaking to see someone getting shot or dying everyday. As a father I want to reach out to other families and support them through tragedies so they know they are not alone. I am also working on having a street named after my son, a nationwide gun law bill in his name, and this foundation.
