Help Charlotte Affolter beat cancer!

Update: Charlotte is doing much better than she was last year but it's still an uphill battle. She is suffering new complications requiring more doctors appointments and new medications. On top of that, I was laid off from my job at Coca-Cola SWB in January because I broke my arm and didn't heal fast enough for their liking. I've been doing Uber and time out a loan while searching for a new job. The good news is I have finally found a new job but we have run out of savings and April's rent is quickly approaching. Please donate so we can get up to date on bills and medical costs so she can keep kicking cancer's ass!

In May 2023, Charlotte was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer that metastasized to her liver and her lungs after ending up in the hospital suffering from gastrointestinal distress. This condition has severely impacted our lives.

Because of this, she had to leave her job and lost her insurance which put a hiatus on her treatment. (Update: we got her new insurance through a program one of her doctor's offices takes part in and she has resumed treatment.) She has been approved for disability but they will only help so much financially. This has burdened us direly. We have moved to a more affordable apartment and I'm working myself to the bone to keep us afloat monetarily but we need your help.

Charlotte needs to be in treatment full time if she's going to beat this, which means she can no longer contribute much if anything to our household finances, her personal bills, or to the costs of her ongoing and upcoming treatment needs. We are asking for donations to help get us financially square.

Please, if you can help her and I fight this and help us stay as financially unencumbered as possible so she can focus on kicking this cancer's ass, it would mean everything to us. To me.

Charlotte is the love of my life and any help you give will permanently imprint you upon our hearts with gratitude. I will do everything I can to keep this magnificent woman going and fighting but I'm only one person.
