My son Devon's story he started running track when he was about nine years old with the Arizona Rising Suns Track Club. Early on, Devon and I talked about how cool it would be to run in the Olympics one day.  

In club track Devon earned four 100m state championships, four 200m state championships, two 400m state championships, four 4x100m relay state championships four 4x400 state and region relay titles and was the anchor of a national runner up in the 4x400m relay championship in 2010.

In high school Devon ran at Brophy College Prep where he was an All state football player and track athlete. 
 Devon earned one 200m state championship, two 110m hurdle state championships and two 300 intermediate hurdle state championships. Devon leading his high school team to two state track championships in three years 2011 and 2013. And also earning the Arizona Gatorade Track and Field of the year award.
In college Devon has earned continued success being selected as a Pac-12 three time academic All American. His freshmen year he was the NCAA 110m hurdle outdoor track champion and the US National Champion in the 110m hurdles running against current and former Olympians.  After sitting out a year due to an ACL tear in football January 2015 in the Rose Bowl, Devon rehabbed and returned stronger than ever in the 2016 track season to become the NCAA 60m hurdle indoor champion, the PAC12 outdoor 110m hurdle champion, the PAC12 200m champion and the NCAA 110m hurdle outdoor champion. 

 And just this past weekend as you probably know Devon won the gold medal in the US Olympic Trails and earning a chance to represent our Country and Our Family in the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Devon has now met his childhood goal of earning a spot on the USA Olympic Team!

Obviously being his dad I am very proud of Devon's accomplishments.  Bernadette and I would like to have the opportunity to watch Devon live out his dream in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.  
We are asking for your help with trip expenses.  We have saved some money in hopes Devon would make the Olympic team, but by this request we obviously we haven’t saved enough. 

 Expenses include airfare, room, ground transportation and some meals. We are hoping to go for 10 days. Estimated airfare is $3000 x 2 persons. Room is estimated at $500 x 10 nights. Ground transportation is estimated $80 x 10 days to the Olympic venue. Food is estimated at $200 x10 days. The additional amount would be used for tickets to the venue and incidentals.
