Breast Reconstruction Surgery

If you’re here you’ve probably followed my story via TikTok about my Poland Syndrome.
This is something I’ve been open about my struggle with for years.
I have a muscle deformation in my left chest muscle, causing physical discomfort and spinal issues but also a large visible difference in my left and right breasts.
My left cup is an AA whilst my right is currently a C, but through weight loss/gain, hormonal fluctuations etc. when my right gets bigger in size, the left remains the same. This is making it more and more noticeable as I age.
It’s incredibly inconvenient when trying to find bras/tops as you can imagine. It becomes a huge issue for me self esteem wise in the Summer when everybody is wearing less and out more.
Following so many kind peoples suggestions, I decided to make the fundraiser after I’ve once again come to a dead end in my journey to receive financial support with my medical costs.
Looking towards private, the surgery will be more similar to a breast reconstruction that breast cancer survivors receive post recovery/removal rather than just a simple enlargement. This is because, unfortunately not only is my left breast significantly smaller but it is also tubular in shape.
As I’ve expressed before, although I know this surgery is not cosmetic and is corrective, I understand the way a lot of people view crowd funding for this sort of thing.
My financial situation currently (as a lot of peoples) is not great. I’m a hard working mum, I have 2 jobs and I’m now living alone. It’s not feasible for me to save such a large amount of money at this moment in time.
