Homeless, Abandoned & Injured Cats
Donation protected
Please donate to help the Homeless, Abandoned and Injured Cats/Kittens at the Cathaven.
The Cathaven is in urgent need of donations to continue support, care and re-homing for hundreds of stray and abandoned cats that they are already assisting. They are a not for profit organisation cat welfare society, that work towards the betterment of cats in Perth.
For example Cauliflower, a cat that was surrendered to the Cathaven with an inner ear infection so severe that the ear had folded over. This is just one example of a horrible situation that the Cat Haven has to deal with on a daily basis.
Cat haven shelters abandoned cats that are susceptible to hazardous circumstances, they are homeless, injured and sick. These innocent beings are abused, tortured and left to die. Cauliflower is a living example of such animals that are subjected to such atrocities and hardships. Although luck played its part and Cauliflower was rescued and operated on by Perth Cat Hospital under the supervision of Cathavens.
The Cathaven mainly operates on donations and memberships from the public to run their much needed operation. On average the Cat Haven receives 6,500 cats per year with the summer months being peak period.
In winter they can receive approximately up to between 5 - 30 cats per day and in the summer months they can receive up to 90 cats per day. For every cat/kitten at the haven costs them $28.00 per day.
As a group of University Students we are running this Project to raise much needed funds for the Cathaven that work very hard to help the welfare of cats.
Our fund raising campaign will run to the 10th of October 2016 so the Cathaven has extra funds for the unwanted kitten season coming up and 60 extra cats on an average will be coming into the haven in the summer months.
Thank you for taking time to read our fund page, any funds will be greatly appreciated. Any $1.00 raised will go towards saving a homeless cat/kitten to have a better and healthy life in a forever home.
