Make a donation for Sharyon's new leg

 We are raising money to help my mom Sharyon Thomas. She had a very large hematoma removed from the calf of her left leg in October 2012. After months of excruciating deep tissue bandage changes her leg became infected and her doctors found a blood clot in her lungs. After discussing matters with her the doctors advised her that in order to save her life, they would need to amputate her leg above the knee. The day after her leg was amputated, the doctors came to her and advised that they found a sarcoma in the tissue of her calf and a spot on her lung (besides the blood clot) that could possibly be the same type of cancer. We are currently waiting for a PET scan to determine if she also has cancer in her lung or anywhere else in her body. Between October and December she had no health insurance and therefore the bills from then and even after she got insurance are astronomical and still coming in. Her insurance is $334 a month and paid up only through June of 2013. Even with her insurance, a prosthetic leg is going to cost well over $5000.
