As many of you know, Phil lost his home to the bank. After nearly a year and a half of fighting with DVA, all the time falling further and further behind with payments, the bank forclosed on them.
Phil, along with his wife Sarah and 2 girls (both under 5) packed their whole world up into 5 suitcases and 2 tea chest sized boxes. Yep, that was all that they had left. They caught a bus from Darwin to Brisbane, and a few days later caught another bus to Sydney where they are currently staying with friends.
While our campaign to keep Phil and his family in their own home failed, I've decided to change the campaign a bit and try to raise some funds for them to restart their lives. For the 30 people who previously donated, a big thankyou. Your donations kept them going for a while. If you missed the opportunity to help a veteran and his young family out, well, here's your chance.
Let's give Phil, Sarah and their 2 girls a solid foundation to restart their lives with. I've kept the goal low, but would love to see it doubled , or even tripled.
Let's turn this negative situation around and re-enforce a positive foundation for these guys to restart with.
