Need help covering unexpected cost of Dads funeral

My dad and sister purchased life insurance to cover all funeral cost so this day wouldn’t come as a burden to his family. The life insurance company just informed us we are 2 weeks short of the two year mark for them to cover anything and that he never signed an important document so they wouldn’t cover funeral cost anyway (even though my sister has been paying premiums for the past two years and they never informed anyone of this document) We thought we were prepared, but didn’t expect this. If anyone has in in there heart, please help us send our dad off the way he deserves. Thank you so much
