Cailee's Sightseeing Bucket List

Cailee is getting ready to turn 8 in just a couple of weeks. At 2 years old she was diagnosed with a very rare genetic retinal disease called FEVR. Unfortunately, there is no cure, no treatment and in time may leave Cailee blind. Over the past few years, her vision has progressively worsened and her diseased has caused complications and vision loss. Cailee has endured 5 surgeries in her little time here already. She is a true fighter and an inspiration to so many!
At 3 Cailee started early intervention and began learning how to use a cane with an orientation and mobility instructor. At 4, Cailee began learning Braille and has loved learning the tactile side of life!
We have realized through her struggles and in our conversations with the Doctors and Specialist how important her memory recognition is and will be in her future. For this reason we have created **CAILEE'S SIGHTSEEING BUCKET LIST**

We are building Cailee's memory bank with as many activities as we can before she loses any more vision. I was fortunate enough to have a very special friend who lost her vision recently explain to me that "it's not dark, because of her memories her brain recalls images and I 'see' quite well".... This made me even more determined to give her as many experiences and make as many memories as possible. One place every princess deserves to go explore is Disneyland, Cailee has been dreaming of meeting Bell and Snow White!


Catrina Frost, Cailee's mother, from Phoenix Arizona plans to use the generous donations to give Cailee the experices of a lifetime through day trips, vacations, special events, classes and opportunities to ensure Cailee will have the memories  she can take with her forever!
Candice Frost, Cailee's Grandmother is dedicated to overseeing the GoFundMe Campaign and pass any messages on to Catrina.
