High School Math Club

Hey there,

My name is Alicia and I am a math teacher in Long Beach, California. Another math teacher and myself run a math club for about 50 freshman where we work on assignments (current, missing and late) with them, help them prepare for tests and raise their grades in ALL subjects. Since we require the students to come after school, on their own time, we like to provide snacks and incentives to keep them coming, motivated and energized. This is a massive financial undertaking for myself and my co-teacher to provide out of our own pocket. We are looking to fundraise some money so that we can continue providing what our students need to succeed. In the few months we have been up and running almost all attending students have raised their D/F grades and become more involved in the school atmosphere. We want to keep this positive trend going and be there for our students. We appreciate any help you can provide!
