St Catherine’s Hospice - Midnight Walk
As many of you know last year we lost our loving dad/grandad. This came as a complete shock to us all and wasn’t something we were prepared for. Sadly dad started to deteriorate quickly and after him being adamant he didn’t want to go into the hospice he soon realised this would be the best place for him, this resulted in him going into the loving care of the team at St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. I think we speak for all of our family when we say we will never be able to thank them enough for all they did for dad in his time at the hospice and not only did they care for him in the best way possible they also made our family feel completely at home during one of the hardest time of our lives.
Therefore this year our family are taking part in St Catherine’s Midnight Walk on Saturday 12th December which weirdly enough is the day before the 1 year anniversary of us losing our dad/grandad. We will be walking 20 miles and we would appreciate it so much if you could all sponsor us and cheer us on! We will never be able to repay them for what they have done but being able to raise money for them so they can continue to carry out their amazing work and help other families is a start!
