Honor Christina Davison

Donation protected
On June 28, 2016, Linda and Larry Davison received the call that no parent wants to get. Their daughter Christina, age 21, had been in a serious car accident while driving cross-country and was being Life Flighted to the St. Vincent Trauma Center in Billings, Montana. She had suffered a skull fracture, severe traumatic head injury with bleeding on her brain, a broken collar bone, bilateral contusions to her lungs, cuts and abrasions on her left arm, and a slice through her left ear. She was unresponsive.

Linda and Larry took the first flight out to Billings from Portland, OR and began the painful process of praying and waiting, hoping that the wonderful team of doctors, nurses, and specialists would give them positive news. Unfortunately, though the team did everything they could to reduce pressure on Christina's brain and revive her to the youthful, fun, loving girl that her family and friends knew, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away on July 8, 2016.

Christina was a specific gift from God, a baby that became available for adoption to Linda and Larry 21 years ago, after they had spent many years hoping and praying for a child. No one could have imagined that their special gift would return to the arms of God after such a brief time on this earth.

The Davisons now face the heartbreaking task of healing from this devastating loss while addressing the medical bills that accumulated over 10 days of intensive care for Christina's last days and creating a memorial service to celebrate the life of their beautiful daughter in the church where they raised her to know and love the Lord.

The Davison family is so grateful for your help, even in the smallest amounts. We know that Christina loved and is loved by so many. Please contribute to help ease Linda and Larry's financial struggles as they remember and honor the daughter they lost too soon.
