Help the Corey family move

The reason we are reaching out is because of some unexpected changes in our finances and medical bills we can no longer afford the rent where we are. We wanted to relocate to southern California where Mark could finish school and get his RN. However because of things beyond our control, we can not make that kind of move right now. I think right now he is going to find a school here local.
My health has gotten worse in past year. I have Carcinoid cancer w/Carcinoid syndrome. I had major abdominal surgery back in Oct. 2012 and have been on TPN (IV nutrition) for just over 5 months now and just recently just got out of the hospital again. I also get injections for carcinoid syndrome every 14 days. I also no longer can drive on top of it.
The reason we need so much is because we will need to hire help to clean the place we are in and get help to pack and move. Right now I can not lift more than 10 pounds (because of the PICC line) and my husband's back is fused and he can not (should not) do heavy lifting.
We might also have to get a storage room to store some things that will not fit in the house. I am hoping to get enough to cover the cost for at least a year.
I also hope to have enough to get a kitchen table and chairs and a mattress for Patty's bed. Right now she has just a thin pad on her bed and we also need a dresser as her dresser is broken.
I guess we need a lot of things.
