So hi, I hate doing this but I need help.

For those of you who know me, know I hate asking for this for those who don't, hi, my name is Kristine. I've always lived paycheck to paycheck just fine. I currently have two jobs to stay a float. If called out of work one day because I was sick no biggie. Two days out, well, not bad but I better get back to work sick or not cause that will bring me to the point of not being able to pay rent.

Well, one day I woke up for work and I couldn't feel my feet. So I called out and hoped for tomorrow. The next day came and the numbness moved up my knee. I immediately called the doctor and got an appointment for the next day, thankfully my day off. The doctor thinks it might be a damaged or severed nerve. They ordered me blood work and x-rays. So I did both.

I went back to work since I couldn't call out anymore without being in serious financial trouble. I couldn't stand long so work let me sit in a closet to fill up forks and spoons because we're not allowed to sit in public view where I work. After three days passed I woke up and knew I was in trouble, I couldn't feel my right side of my body. But went into work anyway, I barely got to clock in before I fell down and couldn't get up. I was sent home and had to call out the next day again. I went to the doctor and he confirmed that it had spread to my back. He said nothing came back on the x-ray and my blood work only confirmed that I'm autoimmune compromised. He ordered me an MRI and to see an orthopedics specialist and to apply for Short Term Disability.

So after days of calling out and trying

to figure out doctor's appointments and paperwork almost everything is done. My MRI is on the 29th and my specialist appointment on the 1st. But still waiting for approval on disability. I have to wait 7 unpaid days to know if I'm approved, and if I am I'll only get 66% of my normal paycheck.

So I'm going on two weeks without a paycheck and if I get approved I'll only get $200 (I will not be covered for those two weeks) that's not enough for my medical bills, food, and rent.

No one knows what's going on with me still, and I can barely stand longer than 30 minutes before my legs give out. I now walk with a cane and I just need help. I'm so lost and I feel so bad for asking for help but I need to at least have a home until doctor's know what's wrong with me.
