Christian Alcatraz Shark Fest Swim
Donation protected
My name is Christian Fung, and I am a Junior at San Joaquin Memorial High School. On August 13, 2016, I will be participating in the Alcatraz Shark Fest Swim, which is a 1.5-mile race that starts at Alcatraz and finishes at Fisherman’s Warf. I am swimming this race to try and raise money for the Community Food Bank, which is a non-profit that serves the needs of hungry children, families and seniors in our community.
Did you know 280,000+ people are served each month by the Community Food Bank and that 1 in 3 children in the Central Valley are struggling with hunger? I feel the need to not only set a personal goal for myself in trying to swim this race but also try and do something to help the hungry. Please help me reach my goal of $5,000. With your help $0.97 of every dollar given goes to food and food programs, so no amount is too small and every bit counts. I truly appreciate your help in reaching my goal.
Join Me as I swim against the tides of hunger.
