Hillhouse Track to National Championships 2021

   The Hillhouse Boys and Girls track teams are in need of your help. We are trying to raise funds for 7 inner city Student Athletes that have qualified for NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Tracktown USA. Eugene,  Oregon! 

      This year the governing body of High School Championships has moved the meet from North Carolina A&T to the University of Oregon! This move has the Coaches scrambling to find The money to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity. 

    The turmoil caused by Covid-19 has put us in a situation where we were not able to host track meets to fundraise  as we have done the last 20 years. So we are coming to You… Our Community and support system for HELP.  These athletes are among some of the bets to ever compete in New Haven and have earned the opportunity to attend this special event.

   One of my priorities as a Coach has and will always be to provide the kids of New Haven the chance to experience going to places outside of the city and expose them to things they may not have ever gotten a chance to experience. In the past student athletes have gone to Texas, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina , Florida, South Carolina, Iowa, North Carolina to name a few places they have been able to compete and do well but most importantly those opportunities have enabled them to receive scholarships to some of the most prestigious schools in the country. We need help with entry fees, plane flights, hotel & transportation once we arrive in Eugene. After sitting down and calculating the costs it will need about $10.000. Anything you can do will help us out tremendously.
