Jessica fights breast cancer
Donation protected

At the young age of 25 loving mother of then 2 beautiful children was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer.
In the fall of 2013 Jessica found out she was pregnant with her third child. We were all very excited to welcome a new blessing into our family.
During her pregnancy Jessica started feeling discomfort on one of her breast. She went to the doctor to get a check up however, the doctor told her she was fine and that it was tenderness due to the pregnancy. She kept feeling discomfort out of the norm. She then decided to get a second opinion. At 7 1/2 months pregnant the second doctor that treated her gave her the devastating news that she had breast cancer. She was destrought. Aside from the disomfort and soreness she never had any previous symptoms causing her to be alarmed. The doctor then continued to explain to her that she was at stage 3 due to the extra hormones which acted as an accelerant. This news caused so many emotions to arise, confusion, denial, anger and finally acceptance. You can only imagine her frustration.
After accepting her desease Jessica began Chemotherapy. She had her ups and downs throughout this excrutiating process but, has always overcome the obstacles she has faced.
A year had passed and her cancer was sustained due to treatments she was receiving. We were all thoroughly ecstatic. She continued to live her life to the fullest.
Sadly less than a year ago Jessica's insurance dropped her and she was not able to pay for her medical expenses. Afraid to stress any of her family out she kept it to herself for 3 months until she started feeling ill again. In the 3 months that she was not receiving treatment her cancer had spread to her esophagus. She told us that she did not want to give up hope and that her dream is to live a long life and see her kids grown up.
We assured her that eveything would be ok and that we would help her in any way possible. We have had fundraisers for Jessica to help raise money to cover her medical cost. Even so we stand short. Her youngest son is 2 years old and is autistic and requires special care and schooling. Her mother has also recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and has just undone surgery.
Jessica means the world to us, she is a daughter, grandaughter, sister, cousin, niece, auntie, friend but, above all that she is a loving and dedicated mother
of 3 beautiful children who deserves to see her children grow up.
We ask that you please help us raise funds to cover Jessica's medical expenses. Chemotherapy treatment, injections and medication is extremely expensive. Weekly treatment runs us 560.00 per round, she does 4 at a time, then she must get the low white cell count injection after chemo which cost 3,600.00 this is then followed by a bone injection which cost 400.00.
These are montlhy expenses that will be needed until her cancer is under control.
Please look deep into your hearts and assist us in
helping my niece and 2 nephews have their mommy in their lives.
