Edwin's Hospital Fund

My name is Hector Saldivar, My younger brother (Edwin Saldivar) was in a soccer accident on Sunday July 10th. During the game one of the opponents players tool a cheap shot at him and pressed his knee into his stomach. During the impact there was a perforation in the small intestine. Edwin was rushed in an ambulance and was operated immediately. Doctors say if, his life would have been at risk if surgery would have waited. The surgery was 5 hours after the injury, he had 16 inches of small intestines removed. Now Edwin waits a long recovery to play soccer again. Edwin is a current student at J Frank Dobie High School. He is the captain of the soccer team and a member of the National Honor Society. My family can use any help in this moment. As of today the total bill is in between 45 to 55 thousand.
