Support Brandon's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Our hero, Brandon Beasley, fell ill with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer in April of 2024. This was a complete shock to our family and community as Brandon has always been a very active and healthy individual.
It started with his vision becoming blurry, which led him to go see an eye doctor in Shreveport who noticed a spot in his eye that he has never seen before. He then redirected Brandon to an eye specialist in Dallas who acknowledged that Brandon did have cancer somewhere in his body, he just wasn’t sure where. Brandon was then sent to an oncologist in Shreveport. The oncologist discovered that Brandon has stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. Quickly after this discovery, Brandon began his first full round of chemo therapy and radiation.
Brandon has had many set backs along the way but that hasn’t stopped him. He is the strongest man we know and has continued to fight through. He has pushed through the stiffness in his bones and joints, immediate pericardial window surgery to relieve the pressure on his heart caused by excessive fluid in his chest cavity, and swelling throughout the entire body due to fluid. When he had the pericardial window surgery, his oncologist found that the fluid was cancerous meaning the previous round of chemo did not kill all of the cancer. He was then advised to continue treatment. The chemo therapy he did next caused the excessive fluid build up in his chest cavities so he then had a catheter put into his right chest cavity so that we could drain the fluid from home. We are continuously praying that the fluid keeps decreasing with each day that we drain his right chest cavity.
To know Brandon is to love him. He has the kindest heart and is always the first one to help when help is needed. His determination is something you definitely do not see in everyone, he will continue to fight this battle every single day for as long as he is able. Many people have asked how they can help. The money raised here through Brandon’s go fund me page will be used for food during his many hospital stays, out of pocket medical expenses and transportation to and from his many doctor visits and treatments.

Please continue to lift up Brandon and his family in your daily prayers.
