Help Rich with Route 66 Trip

Hello Everyone,
As you might have seen on my video blogs and/or YouTube videos, that I have been planning a trip to drive and geocache Route 66.
Ever since my divorce, all my vacations have been centered around my children. Now that all my children are adults, a vacation just for myself never came to mind, until my son asked me one day...If you ever did a vacation just for yourself, what would you do?
Took me a while to think of something. For some reason or another, driving Route 66 popped into my head. I have been geocaching since 2009 and now driving AND geocaching Route 66 was sounding like a real possibility for a great get-away. It wasn't long until I decided to start a blog about driving and geocaching Route 66. Now my plans are to drive, geocaching, blog, AND video blog Route 66!!! My goal is to educate you about Route 66 and hopefully inspire you to want to experience Route 66 for yourself.
So here I am, all geeked out about my blog and trip, and now I am having a major road block with these plans....I haven't been able to save up enough money in time for this adventure.
I have 18 days away from work, in September, and as of now, I don't know if I'd be able to afford more than a week on the road. With all the sites to experience and geocaches to be found, I'd be lucky if I can make it out of Illinois on Route 66 in that time.
This is where you can help. I am looking for donations to help me make the most of those 18 days. Your help will go towards all the expenses involved in doing a trip like this and I plan on giving back as well.
What do I mean by that?
Here is the deal....for every dollar you donate, I am going to use a third of that to purchase Route 66 items along the way. I am going to have a Prize Vault of items for you to select from. Donate $75 and select $25 worth of items I purchased while traveling Route 66.
After the trip, I am going to randomally select donors to select items from the Prize Vault. Donate $75. Select $25 worth of items from the Prize Vault. Simple as that.
For the top 3 donors, I'd like to something special for you. I'd like to arrange a time when we can personally spend some time together (dinner, picnic, etc...) and tell you all about the trip in person (as long as you don't live too far away). I'd also like to share video blogs ahead of time with you first. Before I put any video blogs on my blog or YouTube, I'd like to send you a copy first and get your feedback. Who knows, I might make a couple of video blogs and only share them with my Top 3 donors.
I am starting this GoFundMe with only a couple months to go before I hit the road, so your speedy response will be very helpful.
