Children's Educational Campaign
Donation protected
The Yesteryear Museum is an agricultural based facility wherein our displays are interactive with the public.
Our goal is to continue to provide educational opportunities for students while providing hands on demonstrations that the educators can use to interact with classroom curriculum.
Any funds donated will be used to not only continue the current demonstrations but will provide the Museum the opportunity to expand its demonstrations and afford materials used by the students.
We are in our 4th year of providing this opportunity and wish to see this continue into the foreseeable future.
With up to 260 students spending a day among 10 to 12 demonstrations, transporation, materials and volunteers are needed to insure a succussful endeavour.
We strongly feel this connects the students with our pioneering ancestors and gives them a sense of accomplishment when they learn and comprehend what was needed in order for a family to survive in a rural setting.
You can be assured you have our thanks and gratitude for any funds provided for us to continue this unique opportunity for our youth. In todays challenging world and the technology needed to navigate through it, we offer a simpler and less complex view of life. A life that focused on family, hard work and a sense of pride based on accomplishment.
Again, thank you for reviewing our funding opportunity and hopefully you will feel as passionately about it as we do.
Sincerely,
William Cooper
