Water Well for Yemen

My name is Tanjila Shanaz, Birmingham, UK. In October 2018 I attended an 'Islamic help' seminar and after hearing about the Yemen crisis which I was oblivious to before, I was motivated to help them in any way I could. I pledged to raise £1500 to build a water well for our brothers and sisters in Yemen who are going through a major crisis.
They are going through the worst famine seen in over a hundred years. Millions are starving and have no access to food or clean water. This campaign will help to build a well in one of the communities that is most affected, so that men, women and children can easily attain clean water.
This will help prevent water borne diseases, and give some hope to those suffering. Water is one of the most basic necessities of life, and our brothers and sisters in Yemen deserve to drink clean water as we do on a daily basis.
The money raised here will go 100% to the charity Islamic Help. I will take the donation money to them myself as their office is closeby. I will post proof of them receiving the donation once the campaign is complete.
Remember this,
Allah will say on the Day of Judgment, ‘Son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.’
‘My Lord, How could I visit You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was sick and you didn’t visit him? If you had visited him you would have found Me there.’
Then Allah will say, ‘Son of Adam, I needed food but you did not feed Me.’
‘My Lord, How could I feed You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was hungry but you did not feed him? If you had fed him you would have found its reward with Me.’
‘Son of Adam, I was thirsty, but you did not give Me something to drink.’
‘My Lord, How could I give a drink when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was thirsty but you did not give him a drink? If you had given him a drink, you would have found its reward with Me.’ (Al-Bukhari)
