Joe Bland Cancer Treatment

Help Joe Bland and stop the burden Cancer causes.
I am Sarah Bland, wife to Eric Bland who is Joe Bland's nephew. Joe pretty much raised Eric into his teen years and has always been a kind, giving and caring man who never asked for anything. Many of you may know Joe from Garfield High School in Seattle where he worked as a teachers assistant in the gym (basketball, volleyball and wrestling) and with the kids in detention and the incoming freshmen in the Bridge Program for almost 30 years (he might have confiscated your cell phone, but always out of love). He is a gentle and loving husband to Sabrina Bland and devoted father to their daughter and college graduate Jomeka Bland.
Sadly, Joe Bland has just been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. He is going to have surgery soon and we need to act now as we don't know how long or what treatment will bring, but it is URGENT. We really cannot wait another day.
Joe also worked part time at the Seattle Times for decades; his wife is a home health care worker, their car needs repair, Sabrina needs to take Joe to appointments, care for him and be there by his side - and that means she can't work as many hours as she used to.
Please take one minute and give to Joe - anything helps, whatever you can possibly afford whether it is $5 or $50 - this man has touched the lives of thousands of teens and young adults over the years and now he needs us and he would never, ever ask - he needs us to step up and ease the burden of this terrible disease.
Every day is precious to us all, his daughter just graduated from college and is now living in Atlanta, Georgia - we need to help this family be together and fight this disease!
Anything you can do to help, thank you and God bless you and your family.
