Brooke O'Brien Fund

Donation protected
Brooke O'Brien is a bright and funny 13 year old who loves Star Wars and catching Pokemon. She plays French Horn in the school band and loves going to the movies with her dad. Brooke was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in October of 2013 and never let that stop her from doing the things that she enjoys.

On July 13, Brooke underwent a routine surgery to correct her scoliosis. About 24 hours after her initial surgery, Brooke lost feeling in her lower body. She was rushed into a second surgery to save her life. At that time it was discovered that Brooke had suffered a very rare complication called ischemia of the spine. She is currently at St. Mary's Hospital fighting to regain her body.

This page was established because so many people have kindly asked for ways to help Brooke in her time of need. We hope these donations will help with any of the financial burden for Brooke and her family. It is unknown what exactly Brooke will need in the future , but due to the significance, we know that Brooke will come across many expenses relating to her health and accommodations. All donations are welcome and we are grateful for your generosity and continuous prayers.
