Paige vs. Leukemia: The KO Round

I am blessed to be the great-uncle of this beautiful 15-year-old young lady, Paige Lejeune. Paige has been battling leukemia since January of 2014. She whipped it once, but it came back. She whipped it again, but recently leukemia has reared its ugly head for the third time.

 Paige is an inspiration to all who know and come in contact with. Her ever-present smile in the face of adversity and her never-give-up, never-give-in fighting spirit is the stuff heroes are made of. But even heroes need help sometimes. As you can imagine, the medical expenses for this long battle have been and continue to be astronomical. Paige’s Mom had to resign her job to become a full-time caregiver, so the family income was cut in half and has remained there for the last 2 ½ years and counting. Income cut in half, regular living expenses continue, in addition to medical expenses not covered by insurance. It doesn’t take much of a math whiz to see those numbers quickly turn red. Really red. Help is needed ASAP, as in yesterday.

 This has been a long, arduous struggle. Paige is ready, willing, and able to deal leukemia a third round KO, but she and her family need your help. Anything you can give will be appreciated more than you can imagine. Don’t let this courageous fighter face this monster alone. Please.
