House Fire

On the morning of June 28 my childhood friend and coworker Danise Pimpinella received a phone call that no one would ever want to get. She was told there was a fire at her house. Knowing that both of her one year old dogs she shares with fiancé Sean Sheridan were home at the time, Danise and I rushed from our school to the scene. Windows shattered as we desperately attempted to open the basement door. Although we tried as hard as we could, the combination of flames, heat and overwhelming smoke was too much to overcome. Ryder and Walker succumbed to the smoke, despite the valiant efforts of both Danise and the FDNY. Luckily Danise did not sustain any injuries. Unfortunately not only did Sean and Danise lose their beloved pets and companions, they also lost most belongings. This fundraiser was started as an attempt to help them move past this tragedy by easing the financial hardships they will incur from the fire. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
