Remembering Emily

Emily was an artist, teammate, friend, daughter, and so much more. She was a soul who cared deeply about those around her and was loved deeply by many. A soul who left this earth way before her time was up. And a soul that will be sincerely missed everyday.

The kindness and compassion Emily showed to others will forever be admired, and will continue to lead as an example of how to treat one another at all times. The lives she touched and lives of those who knew her will forever be changed, as we will now tread more carefully in a world that has lost someone so special. Her smile and laughter will be dearly missed but never forgotten as she will be remembered everyday and held close to our hearts for the rest of our lives.

This fundraiser has been created by her hockey team in hopes to lessen the stress on Emily's family and those impacted by her sudden passing. The intent of the  funds are to help with funeral/memorial costs, as well as the cost of counselling and other professional resources that may be needed in order to cope with her loss. The money raised will be passed directly along to the family, any remaining funds will be donated to a Mental Health Organization by Emily's parents.
