Help sick kids smile
Donation protected
HELLO!
My name is Julia and I am here to raise money to help children currently patients at Children’s Hospitals around Australia, smile.
How? 2 ways. I am:
A. shaving my head.
In honour of my cousin, and every other child currently suffering cancer.
B. holding a Motorcycle related event on September 10th.
7 weeks ago, my 15 year old cousin, Alessandra was diagnosed with Tcell-Non-hodgkin's lymphoma. It’s an aggressive and rare Blood and Lymph Node cancer. The news shook our whole family, and like many other families in Australia, we couldn’t believe that it could happen to us.
So far, Alessandra has undergone stem cell removal (In order to be grown and then replaced), chemotherapy, and will need a stem cell transplant.
The money raised will go towards the 'Starlight Foundation'.
After speaking with Alessandra and her mum (my Zia!), Starlight was decided as having the most impact on making Alessandra's hospital stay more pleasant.

'Starlight Foundation' has a presence in all hospitals around Australia.
This campaign is so important to me because every child, deserves to be a child. Hospitals can be a hard place to keep children's spirits bright and their imaginations flaring.
Everyone knows a sick child, or will know one in the future. Give them the opportunity to smile.
For more about the motorcycle event, see

The cost of a lunch, could change the whole week of a sick child.
