Remembering Gary Lentz

Gary Lentz recently lost his life in a tragic auto accident.  He was severely burned over 90 % of his body, taken to a nearby hospital & held onto life for 10 hours before passing away on July 8th at 10 am.   

Gary touched many lives and along with his wife Barbara they raised a wonderful son, Ben.   In spite of eventually going their separate ways they remained close & shared a deep love & hopeful dreams for their only child. 

Ben will soon be starting his third year at St. Mary’s College and through hard work has been on the Dean’s list each year.  He also spent time between summer classes and on weekends working as an apprentice carpenter on construction projects with his dad.  Gary was extremely proud of Ben and strongly committed to helping him finish his education. 

We will all miss Gary but the greatest loss is for his immediate family and particularly for his son who will miss sharing all those special life experiences with his Dad.   In memory of Gary’s life and his dedication and love for his son, please help by donating toward Ben’s education costs – anything you are able to contribute is appreciated.
