Help Shelter Animals!

It has finally happened. The downstairs portion of our local animal shelter is caving in. The ceiling is caving, the walls are crumbling. The air conditioner is out and is so old cannot be repaired. It is no longer usable. That limits the amount of space and forces animals to be euthanized. Adoptions are down and the front door is like a revolving door of people bringing animals to dump. It sickens me. We have tried so hard to help. There is an option for a different building but for some reason it isn't being put forth. So animals will just die. I can see only one way for things to change. The people in this community need to rise together and make a statement! How can people just dump their pets? It happens every day! We need a new shelter! Anyone want to help??? Now is the time before more animals die.  Any amount you donate will be used to help our shelter animals get out! We will meet with city officials to find out the status of the possible new building and keep you updated. If given that building, we can use the money to help with furnishing kennels for it. Please help! Any amount! Donations go to Texarkana Friends of the Shelter, a 501c3 organization. All donations are used to help our shelter animals get adopted!
