Sunday 7-17-2016 -I need prayers for my Son, Jeremy Hamberg. He went into the hospital this morning. The Dr's found blood on his brain.
Jeremy is going into surgery. He has a blood clot in his brain that needs to be remove to stop the strokes. Brian and I are on our way now, be there in 3 hours. Prayers please... Jeremy is out of surgery.
It looks like the stroke was in the part of the brain that controls speech and vision.
Monday 7-18-2016 - CT scan this morning. A neurosurgeon described it as a large clot with more bleeding area than previous scan. They will monitor him closely with ct scans every so often to watch it's behavior. Either heals itself or possibly another surgery.
Tuesday 7-19-2016 morning -Jeremy had a CT scan at 4am. Blood on the brain and swelling does not appear to be getting larger.. This is a good thing, now we hope the blood and swelling get absorbed back into the body.
It is a large clot and bleed. Dr's feel he is still bleeding and are electing to not do surgery, again, but rather let the body take care of itself. Speech and vision have been impacted. Physical and occupational therapy are starting rehabilitation today.
Wednesday 7-20-2016 -morning. Jeremy had a good night. Remy stayed and let me go find a real bed. Got some much needed sleep. Sitting with Jeremy this morning he says, "how is Landon, is he happy." "How is Christian, is he happy"Sooo awesome for him to say the words, but also to recall Landon and Christian's names. Then he aske if Brian (his brother) was behaving... More therapy today..
Thursday 7-21-2016 - Dr. gave Jeremy the all clear. Meaning he is out of the critical stage and now should start the healing process. The plan is to move him from ICU tomorrow to another bed for a few days. If all stays good then to an inpatient rehab for 3 weeks.
